Good cleansing base before applying the cream

I use this product before apply the cream they make to specifically target DS. I saw quite good results with the cream (versus what i used before) and I believe using the cleansing gel before is also responsible for this as it prepares the skin for fully benefiting for the cream's effect. Did not use to buy a DS specific cleansing gel, was used to my regular water-based cleanser but I feel I have been missing out as my random "bursts" of DS have been less and less frequent since I switched to the gel and cream so would recommend.
